Sadness and Woe

There are times in your life, when you’re miserable, sad
And inside your body – your heart feels so bad

You cannot control it, and wherever you go,
You cannot get rid of, these feelings of woe.

You cannot explain it; you do not know why,
You feel in your heart – so sad you could cry.

Maybe you do cry? You cry every day,
But crying won’t wash all your troubles away

I know where you’re at; I know how you feel
But they say there is nothing, that time cannot heal.

Do not despair or give up on life,
There’s a lot you can do, in times of such strife.

Talk to your friends – they love you they care,
They cannot help you – if you do not share.

Pamper yourself. Take some time out for you
Go to a health spa, the beach or the zoo

Read a good book or maybe try baking,
Have a go at a puzzle or painting or making.

Maybe try fitness, or perhaps a brisk walk
Go to the doctor. Open up. Talk!

Challenge yourself – to try something new.
Spend time doing – What you want to do.

I know it’s not easy; it starts from within,
But you’ve already lost, if you don’t want to win.
